so here's my first post from romania. i got internet set up in my room today, so i've decided that it's finally time to blog.
my first three weeks here have gone incredibly well. being reunited with kids at the day center and with word made flesh staff have reminded me over and over that this is where i need to be. there has been so much peace in this transition.
this past weekend, my friend april (a fellow wmf staffer) and i took a trip to moldova for her to renew her visa and for us to meet with a potential partner organization (if we end up planting a wmf community in moldova). being there again was so wonderful and yet also somehow strange to feel so at home in a place so far away.
well, after a successful skype video chat with my mom, i think i'm off to bed.
